After a summer spent on the warped tour, the pop punk group With Confidence joined 5 Seconds Of Summer on tour. With Confidence will be opening for the other quartet in their native Australia.
The band was formed in 2012. Initially composed of Jayden Seeley, Josh Brozzesi Samuel Haynes and Inigo Del Carmen.
In April 2013, the quartet released their first single "Stand Again". Their first EP, "Youth", is released soon after and has success on Australian radio stations.
With Confidence then toured with bands such as The Never Ever and The Getaway Plan.
In January 2014, the guitarist, Samuel Haynes, announced his departure. The group will therefore continue as a trio for some time, leaving for their first solo tour in Australia. They seld out several venues like The Lair in Sydney.
It was in September 2014 that Luke Rockets became the new guitarist of the group. With Confidence then tours with a few bands, You Me At Six for example.
Their new EP, "Distance" is released in January 2015, followed closely by a new solo tour.
It was in January 2016 that the band announced his signing with Hopeless Records (who signed All Time Low). This signature is accompanied by a new single, "We'll Be Okay" and the announcement of an album, "Better Weather".
"Better Weather" is released in June 2016 and its pop-punk influences, such as Blink-182 or the Red Hot Chili Peppers, allows With Confidence to perform all summer long on the stage of the Warped Tour in the United States.
After opening for 5 Seconds Of Summer, the group will offer its Australian fans a solo Australian tour before going away in Europe alongside the Real Friends groups and Knuckle Pucks.
